Sharing God's Love

One our hopes while visiting Argelia Alta was to meet a certain family.  Two years ago, during a mission experience, a lady connected with a certain family. This family has been on her heart since then. She prepared photo albums for the kids, school supplies, clothes and toys for this family.  Her hope was that we would be able to find this family and deliver the message of Jesus Christ to them.  It was a difficult process to get in touch with this family.  On the last day we were there our hope was running low that we would be able to find this family. But when we got there that morning the family was waiting outside for us.  The translated letter was read to them as we gave their gifts. The parents were in shock while the kids just smiled with this indescribable joy. We asked the parents if there were other ways she could support this family. They looked at the things and as the mom was trying to hold back tears she said they don't deserve any of this, but they are incredibly thankful and want to continue to be in communication her.

Argelia seems like such a hopeless place with poverty, alcoholism, rape, but in the midst of it all, there is a God who loves and brings hope to these cities.  Prayer is a powerful thing, and it was a miracle that this entire family was there that day.
We are only messengers.  We came here with shaking hands and barely words to say, but the Lord provided and His will was done.  We were not able to reach the whole city, but one family can send a rippling effect of God's great love.

"No eyes has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"- but God has revealed it to us by His Spirit.
1 Corinthians 2:9
